Woots~! Back in Malacca yesterday. Today went to church in the morning. Slept at 2AM the night before, doing GY's stuff. I don't know why I did it yesterday. Then in church a lil' sleepy during message. Uncle Tony's girls were very cheerul today. Especially Jasmine and Sarah. :) And today before service, we went breakfast at Nam Thye. The breeze was very strong. Uncle Kian Boon, Auntie Jen, Uncle Anthony, Sin Yee and families were there. Quite nice. After service, Uncle Kian Boon, Wei Jin, Sarah an I talked about Uncle Kian Boon's thumb. Got chopped duing CNY. Eeeee.... Then after that the peeps jammed in church. Yen played the piano, Adrian played drum, Sharma on the guitar, Ah Derk main singer and Shaun at the background lip-syncing and doing Timbaland's "Ay..Ay...Ay" with Uncle Anthony. Yeap. They did the song "Apologized" by One Republic and it was... Funny. Ahahahaha. Caught it on the camera.
Anyway, after that we had a meeting and did some rehearsal for the Easter play. I am helping out with the invitation card. No acting this round. Ahahaahah... Fuh. And parents came and pick me at 12PM and brought me and Pin Pin out for lunch. Niiice. And then when I came home, I onlined cos got Business meeting whih I totally forgot. I just so happened online and yeap... I was pulled into a chat room. Ahahaha. And yeah. Discussion went well. All the way to 4PM.
Badminton was at 4pm. I was late of course. Reached there at 4.30PM. Reached there only malas wanna play. Perrr... And yeah, the video from the last post really man... this shaun kept on repeating my lines. APER NII?? Ok, anyway, the first set I played was with Yen, Ah Derk and Wei Jin. Partnered Yen and we won. Woo hoo~! This game reminded of my first camp with them and I partnered Ah Derk (who was very short then) for badminton and everyone were under the very WRONG impression that I was a state player. Thanks to Juliana and GY who made it all up. Buat malu jer when we were trashed kao by El Sen and mate. =.=!
After the first set, my second set, I partnered Wei Jin and we played against Ah Derk and Yen. It was a funny game. I hit darn hard and it always went out of court. I even ter smacked the shuttlecock and hit Wei jin's face. Fuhlamak. Ketawa sampai mau mati. Play also lembik. But we won anyway. And the 3rd set I partnered Ah Derk against yen and Wei jin. Alamak..Kena trashed kao. Zero points from my team. Both of us are noob. Ahahaha. Cos we don't play much. Funnily, after like 5 years, Derk and I paired up in badminton again. And we were trashed... again. T_T
Okla... I'll end here. Yen coming over to mamak liao. Here's a pic we took during CNY. More to come later. Daaa~!

Merry Christmas 2008!
Date : 27th December 2008
Time : 1.50PM
Listening to : Nothing
Where : Room - Malacca
Fuh, finally I found the time to blog about stuff. The days leading to Christmas were filled with practices and I was kinda lazy to blog. Anyway, this year's Christmas event was pretty rushed. We started practicing for the musical at about 5 days before the event. I was assigned the role of the "irritating and annoying person that didn't want her present during gift exchange". So I was the one that was to initiate the musical. We didn't tell the audience about the musical. So everything was to be normal and gifts passing around in a circle. And I will keep wanting to change my present. The 3rd time, Shaun will say, "Eh, enough la! Just take it" and I will say, "NO!". Then the music will suddenly start and I will SUDDENLY start singing,
"This is not what I want...
This is not what I planned...
And I just got to say...
I do not understand...
Something is really-"
And Juliana cuts in suddenly, "Something's not right!"
Then I continued, "really wrong!"
Both of us, "And we got to get things back where they belong~!!!"
Yeap...from the first High School Musical, "Status Quo".
Anyway, then we have the duet from Juliana and Shaun accompanied by the Harmonious 4(Yen, Qi, Shuen and Andy) and occasionally very sudden singing by the every youths in the circle. Adrian was the host for the night so he had some songs to sing also.
Anyway, during practice, it was fun and easy cos I know everyone there. It was so funny also since kitorang kan semua gila gila punya. We had to practice a dance also which I had problem cos I CANNOT dance. LOL. And I stood at the front row sammo. Darn lawak. Ok...now let's do this in chronological order. No photos cos...they are not with me. LOL.
21st December 2008
After practice in church, Juliana, Yen Mei, Sarah and I decided that we should have dinner together later in the evening and then buy the presents for the event. So I went back home first. Mom and Dad left for Teluk Intan already so I didn't get to see them before that. It was Tang Yuan day and she made Tang Yuan for us. Too much though. I ate so much already but still cannot finish. Anyway, Yen Mei fetched us to MP and we had Sushi King for dinner. Then we went around searching for presents. At first we went to the pink shop. Eww. And Juliana and I saw this very little boy trying on wigs. LOL. When we smiled at him he quickly took it off, grinned and ran away. Ahhhaaha! So lawak. Then he tried hairband and stuff. Ju and I thought he might just turn sissy. =.=! Then Ju and I went next door to Vincci to look at the shoes. Yen and Sarah went somewhere else. Only some shoes were nice. Anyway, Ju and I had a hard time searching for presents. In the end we just went to Thai Kuang and get some notebooks instead. Then we met Yen and Sarah in Living Cabin. On spot, Ju, Yen and I chose our own presents. Hahaha... All same one and cheap. So random sial we all.
24th December 2008
Christmas Eve! Went over to Juliana's place for dinner at around 7.30PM. Those present was, Jess and family, Uncle Philip Lee's family, Auntie Judy, Sharma, Wei Jin, Sarah, Yen Mei and me. The food was great. It was Uncle Philip's birthday also and Auntie Judy made cheesecake. So nice mannnnnnnn. ^^ Then the youth stayed indoor to watch Elf. Then dunnoe how come the conversation turned so drasticly to previous crushes that we had in church. Wah lao. Juliana betrayed me. Tak guna...... T_T But then again, haha...it was pretty funny when we know about other people's one. Gahahaha... Anyway, the day before, I bought a little turtle and an aquarium. Yen Mei and I were sharing the cost to give it on Christmas Day during gift exchange. We went home at around 10 minutes to midnight. Reached home only, suddenly the whole Malim Jaya (my area and Ju's) had a blackout for about 2 hours. Only my youngest bro and I were at home. So I asked him whether he wanna follow me to church tomorrow morning and evening. He said yes. Woohoo!
25th December 2008
In the morning we had our usual Christmas Service. Pin Pin followed me. No message that day but we had a couple of sharing from the members. After that we had lunch. Then we had practice after my bro went home. Later in the evening, Melissa came over to fetch my 2 bros, 2 of their friends and me. Quite a good turn out that night. Yiding and LiuBi came too. Man...been such a long time since I last met them. Ju and I were supposed to usher. Ah Derk made 2 signs, "WELCOME" and "HELLO" and made us carry it. -.= Quite lawak but tiring. Anyway, the singspiration was good. During Gift Exchange session, I was very nervous already cos none of the guest knew about the sudden musical. And it went like this.
Gifts exchange #1
Pass pass...pass... Music stops.
Me : WAIT! Adrian, I got my own gift back... can go again?
Gifts exchange #2
Pass pass...pass... Music stops.
Crowd : Noise noise... blablabla...
Adrian :Okay guys, everyone got their gifts?
Me : Sorry guys! I got back my own gift again. So sorry~! Can we go again? Last one!
Crowd : -__-??
Adrian : >< Okok! Guys, since she's a laddddddy...let's go again.
Gifts exchange #3
Pass pass...pass...
Crowd started observing me with frowns.
Music stops.
Adrian :Ok, everyone ok?
Me : Wah lao weh! Again? Can you guys stop passing me my own gift?
Shaun : Aiya! Just take the gift la! I like the one I'm having now!
Geng Yi taps my shoulder from the back. (He didn't know about it either. Just came back from KL)
Geng Yi (whispers): Eh, how many gifts u brought-
Me : NO! (started singing) *Musical starts*
Geng Yi started laughing.
Hahaha... and from the feedback that we got back later... we found out quite a lot of laughable incidents. When I started singing, my bro's friend asked Shaun, "Why so weird one... Suddenly sing..." And Shaun shrugged and said, "Yealo...so weird....". And then suddenly he stood up and sing. My bro's friend went.. o.0!! "This is weiiirdddd....". And he said to my bro, "Your sister very kesian kena pushed around" cos I was in the middle with the youths pushing me around.
And many of them were pretty shocked by the musical even though they started noticing that I actually didn't get my gift back. Grace whispered to Ju, "Why so silly one? Always get back her gift...". LOL... And Uncle Anthony asked Uncle Philip Lim, "Why she always get her own gift back?" Uncle Philip went, "It's an act Anthony.". LOL.
I would say it was a success la. Even when Adrian forgot most of his scripts, the way he said it and acted out, people thought that was part of the play. Hahaha... It was a great event. During makan session, I sat with Yiding, LiuBi, Melissa, Yik How, Sarah, Wei Jin, Sharma, Sherilyn, Xu Yee, Xu Zheng and Ah Derk. Had a great laugh over lame jokes and riddles and about how Melissa was so into Twilight.
Night ended pretty late. At around 12 my bros and I reached home. My youngest bro and I decided to go Mamak while my other bro took the dog for a night stroll. Reached home, bath and went to bed. But 3 of us started talking about the old sega games like Ice Climber, Contra, Dig Dug and many more la. It was a great night.
26th December 2008
I slept till 11.30AM. Yen Mei called after getting no reply from me. El Sen ajak-ed go lunch at Nando's at 1.30PM. So we went there and had lunch there with Shuen, Hwei, Shaun, Ken, Adrian, Sarah and Elsen. It was such a great meal. Feel so much like Christmas cum Thanksgiving. After the wonderful meal, we hung around discussing about the next day plan. Decided to watch Bedtime Stories. Then Yen and I went to get Christmas present for Melinda. Then went Tesco awhile and lepas tu balik.
Then at around 7.30PM, parents came back from TA. Yen came and we went to Melinda's Christmas party. Hung there awhile and then we balik to my nest. Talked and talked before Yen and I decided to watch Australia. Wait..yen decided to watch Australia and I just tagged along. Actually it was just both of us. Then we decided to call Wei Jin also cos he's nearby MBO. 3 hours sial the movie..Almost la. Not too bad la I think. I just can't stand Hugh Jackman. I dunnoe why. After the stupid poll of the Hugh... =.=!
Anyway, we reached home at around 1.30AM. Woo..penat giler.
Okay... That's all for now. Later at 5pm, will meet up with my church members for a movie. Woohoo! One of the best christmas ever. Will share about the message of Christmas later! Meanwhile, check YEN's blog for photos and message. Ta!
THE REASON FOR THE SEASON IS JESUS CHRIST. It's NOT Santa's birthday. It's Christ's birthday. Merry Christmas again.

Holiday at last...

Wow. Such neglected blog. Hehe. Sorry yea. Was too freakin busy with final projects. Though I came back on Monday, I didn't blog cos I decided that:
1. No thinking of other projects.
2. No internet and no computer.
3. Just watch TV 24/7 and eat.
I lasted 3 days. Eheheeh... But if longer even better. Well, anyway, this might just end up very long a post.
I didn't really know what was going on at first cos I arrived there just in time for dinner. Then Tse Hwei said, "Chenli! You can be Gloria!". =.=! I was like... "Madagascar? Who's Moto-Moto man..." And they pointed to Darel. Lol... Okay. Anyway, I'll just let the video do the talking ok. I only have Madagascar and Mangkuk's group. Juliana's group was taken by Yen because I ran out of space and batteries.
*If you don't see the video means i'm still uploading at YouTube. Check back later.*
Jackie came home about a week ago. My bro called me to tell me a dreadful news. I was in Video Lab with my classmates watching a HK comedy by Stephen Chow (All Well Ends Well) and then he called. Jackie's tongue is now shortened by an inch due to the infection. A week before that I was told that the ulcer that affected his throat and mouth spread to his kidney and stomach. So it was pretty bad. The ulcer made the tongue rot. He couldn't really eat by himself now so we have to feed him with soft food. Was pretty shocked at first but thank God he's fine otherwise. When I saw him on Monday, he was very thin but still a little more bubbly than when he was at the vet. But he's not that active anymore. Sigh. Still, glad he's fine. Thanks for the prayers.
So, this is what I've been busy with for the last couple of weeks. It was crazy I tell you. Still, first year second term was worse. Nothing beats that. Period. So yeah, Motion Graphic wasn't part of the hectic list cos we submitted that a week before that. First up in the list was Design Method 3. A group project with Tanyus. I was the Design Lead and she was the Technical Lead. It was quite a big presentation cos the Juniors were there to observe and comment. We did a game that hopefully will invoke the interest of the students in the different art movements. Our main objective was how games can serve as a learning tool. So we created a game that we hope could impart knowledge to the player regarding the art movements in the world. But feedback from Juniors was, our navigation wasn't that clear. Some faulty bugs in the programming didn't help either. So I plan to improve on the navigation and information later. But from the side of our lecturer, Sweii, also our Head of Dept (0.0!), she was quite happy with the result and with our preparation. She said it serves as a good portfolio and perhaps could even be marketed. Sook Chiung, our tutor, commented on the lack of information and learning experience of the game. I hope to improve on that soon.

Next up on the list was 3D for MM. Kenny couldn't make it for class so presentation was cancelled but we need to submit to Mafex from 2.30 to 3.30. He emailed us about it which I just read, TODAY. But I knew we need to submit but I thought must be sharp 2.30PM. Sweat like crazy cos I was late for half an hour. Sebab nak melebih buat website for my trailer. Wooo... The navigation sucks. But then I thought, "Aku buat this 3D model so hard... And I could show just a trailer. A bit wasted lor." So i did a mock website to show off my 3D. Wahahahahah! Ahem... Just jk. I really think it was a waste to limit it to a trailer. Still, I don't think I did well for this subject.

Last on the list was Advanced Digital Media. This one was such a killer I tell you. I don't think I was defeated because of the programming part. It was my time management and perhaps also my illustration skills. I did finish my work. My ending wasn't how I wanted it to be. Musa was happy with my planning for the whole flow of the game. Just the ending. Soo Chiung likes the mood and feel but the whole game was lack of info. So we were allowed to refine them and submit on Monday. I refined them but I still didn't have the time to fix the ending. Sigh. Oh well, I can't ask for more time. I did some user testing on Eric and my youngest bro. Eric was like, "Chenli!!! This is sooooooo harddddddddd!!"... and my bro was, "Okla... Not too hard." but I noticed they didn't really know where to click and both aren't P&C players. I failed... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.... Okla... I should fix it perhaps. Pixel hunting crap which I hated and now I'm drowing in it. But this assignment really tested me alot on my programming capabilities. I used to not able to figure out what the error means. Now when the error message pops out, I know where to fix it. And solution became easier. Wooo... Tak sangka I can programme the whole game out. I just wish I didn't give the players so much problem. Gah.

Well, basically, that's all. And on the 25th December 2008, MGC is having a christmas event ,
K, till then. Ta!

Church Camp
Well, I didn't stay over. This year, the camp took place in MGC itself. My sister came back so I decided to stay home instead. But I joined some of the sessions. The speaker was Mr. Chew Eng Huat. The camp was 4 days 3 nights. Quite fun I think. The Special Nite was interesting and hilarious. We were required to do a skit based on Isaiah 6:8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?" And I said, "Here am I. Send me!"I didn't really know what was going on at first cos I arrived there just in time for dinner. Then Tse Hwei said, "Chenli! You can be Gloria!". =.=! I was like... "Madagascar?

The Wedding Preparation
Date : 22nd November 2008
Time : 12.49AM
Listening to : My Own Typing
Where : Room -Malacca
Oh nooo... My voice is breaking and quivering. I'm losing my voice. 0.o! How am I to sing later for Geng Yi's and Grace's wedding. T_T Melissa don't know whether she's singing or not. If she's not, I'll be the only one for the low echoist. Falling sick too. Dang man... I started to feel my voice's breaking when I finished BSGC's children ministry on Thursday. I was one of the sinspiration helpers. When I travelled back Malacca that same day to go for the wedding's rehearsal, I felt the flu coming up. And when they practiced "In Your Presence", I seriously cannot sing. Bah...
Anyway... This is going to be short post. Today (Actually yesterday since past 12AM d), we youths went to church at 8PM for the final rehearsal for GY's wedding presentation. The aunties were there earlier to decorate the church up. It was really beautiful. The theme was in purple and white. SO they chose the little daisies and also orchids. Anyway. Practice was fun. And Melissa wasn't around so I was practically trying my very best to not be "influenced" by the normalist and also saprano echoist. =.-!
As mentioned, this is going to be short. I will be giving more details on the preparation later and also VBS back in Sunway. Gotta catch my very much needed sleep before the wedding tomorrow. I am gonna look like some worn out hag man. =.+! Here are some photos of the church. Will update the "decoraters" and "rascals" soon. The youths are the rascals of course.... XD. Alright. Enjoy the pics. I love the Ball of Rose the most. And the daisies...
It's been pretty long since I took photos with my own camera and edited it. Hope to get nicer shots tomorrow. ^^ Nite ppl!

Nothing much
Date : 16th November 2008
Time : 5.05PM
Listening to : The rain...
Where : Room - MC
I'm feeling a little light headed and having stomach cramp. Ugh~! Yesterday, as usual, Zheng and I cooked dinner at home. This term, we've been cooking at home more often than we ate out. (I think). Yesterday was particularly quick. ~o.0~ We used to take 45 minutes or more to get simple dishes done but yesterday was 20 minutes or so. Guess we were used to it already. After dinner, I decided that we should get some ice cream. Somehow in the end we ended up in Jusco for our groceries shopping. =.=! We planned for our next week menu. I think this time we'll be attempting new dishes. I don't know about Zheng but I don't cook at home (Malacca) but I think Hainanese can cook somehow. I'm not that good but I don't think my cooking can kill either.
Yesterday, I had a 9.00AM class with Musa. The class supposed to hae 5 people. But yesterday, only 2. Selvia and I. Wahyu dropped the subject, Samantha went back hometown and Tanyus had a migraine. Honestly, I feel more comfortable this way. I asked questions like nobody business without fearing I might stall time. And since array wasn't much of a problem already, I found it sooooo much easier to catch what Musa's trying to say when he showed us the whole CRAZY lines of XML codes. And yes, I'm so glad we'll learn XML also. Ohohoho! Next term, my choice of electives are Game Art & Planning and also Advanced Web Design. At the end of Web Design 2, I told Chong, Jo and Eugene that I will take AWD. For one, I wasn't satisfied with my inability to arrange my codes and make it work. Secondly, I'm very clear of the direction that I want to take which is Interactive. I like Motion Graphic. But I think that can come later. Not my main interest for now.
The day before, Jo, my lecturer sms-ed me and told me to dress in smart casual on Saturday. They need to take my photo for some show reel or something. It's about my Smelly Shoes game that I did in Digital Media 2. So yesterday I asked Sook Chiung about it and she said it was some sort of a game showcase or something that Sweii wants to show dunnoe who and my game is one of the selected one. I dunnoe la. I think that game was so silly. I mean really silly ok. And not practical at all. Not to mention short sammo. But anyway, the photo was taken by Reuben and Sook Chiung was there too. She is so funny ok. Cannot tahan. I don't know how to describe. She is just so funny. I think even Reuben also cannot tahan.
Back in church today, Michael Fun gave a talk on Youth Sunday. He started the sermon with a quiz. So he chose 6 people to participate. 3 adults and 3 young people. And the adults range from teenagers in the 60's, 70's and 80's. The young people range from 90's to the current one. The quiz is to understand how big the gap is between the adults and the young people. So the first round was about the short abbreviation and see how well they know them. The adults one was pretty easy but they still found it hard to answer them. But for us young people, we could answer their questions more or less. But towards the end, the adults seemed to be able to answer them. All the abbreviation thrown to them were daily short text used by the young people. For the young people's turn... it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo terrible. The questions and abbreviations were from the 60's to 80's; all the abbreviation used by our parents and all.
SWALK : Sealed with a loving kiss... 0.o~!
AAF : Always a Friend
TTYL : Talk to you later (This was from our parents' time???)
And many more la. The next round was about Lingo. =.=! Pipe down la... Hang out la... stuff like that. Can't believe all that came from the 60's to 80's.
Anyway... Not feeling too well now. Gtg. Malacca peeps, I'll be back on Friday. See ya guys then.
P/s: I'm not being greedy.. Really. BUT WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE GIVE ME A 4GB RAM COMPUTER THIS CHRISTMAS?!?!!?! *Ahem* Really... I'm not greedy. If I am, I will ask for a workstation already.

Array (At last)
Date : 14th November 2008
Time : 9.17PM
Listening to : Above All - Michael W.Smith
Where : Room - MC
Yesterday I went to Uncle Thiran's church (Kelana Jaya Church) for a talk on Evolution & Creationism. It'll be interesting if the speaker spoke more clearly. His accent was very heavy. He's a professor from India. Anyway, the talk was nice. Today's one I didn't go. It's on Cloning and Biotech. But I'll get the slides from Michael Bubu.
Yesterday Michael came to pick me up for dinner before the talk. We went to Alladin. A Chinese Muslim restaurant. Very nice. Very kenyang and it's on Michael. ^^ And then we talked about the working opportunities outside la. And I think I'm quite clear on my choice of working enironment. I want to be in small companies. At least I get to try on different things.
Yesterday, I managed to get my script right for my game. It's the long repetitive way. Then tried to "globalize" it but still it was quite long. And it works. Then before I slept, I somehow dunnoe why took a look on my prev notes on Array given by Ah Bonk. And everyone knows I suck and I hate dealing with Array. Then today, I went to school for 3 reasons.
1. Get Geng Yi's wedding cards
2. Meet Kenny for 3D
3. Meet Sathom for lunch (AT LAST)
Then while waiting for Kenny and Sathom, I did my work in the library. I took a look at the ActionScript 3.0 Cookbook on Array. Somehow it made sense to me. SO I photocopied the section and brought it home. And guess what? 15 minutes... And I got it to work. Waaaa!! Thank you God~! Wooo~!
Anyway, I dunnoe why the library was filled with SOOOOOOOO many students today. And it was pretty noisy. Lunch with Sathom and Abdullah were nice. We ate in Nando's. Did a little bit of catching up with that dude. Man, it was so long ago since we last met.
Okok..I gtg Bible Study d. See ya!

Dear Livia
Date : 9th November 2008
Time : 7.41PM
Listening to : The hamster running on da wheel
Where : Room - MC
Yawn~! A great day in church today. I helped chair the children ministry closing and prize-giving. I had time helping out. The youth's performance was so very very funny. The midgets and humpty-dumpty. My goodness. If I get the video recording, I'll post it up here. Lately, I've felt myself warming up to he members. Feels nice. And in this church, I was very moved by their effort in children works. Met the special kids today. And seeing the photoslide of the ministry's work really inspired me to serve God more in this area.
I've been attending Uncle Thiran's bible study group for 3 weeks now. This week I met his wife. Starting to warm up to the members there too. ^^ And although it was quite tiring due to homework, it was really interesting to learn about God in another language. And seriously, the info gets in your head better cos' I need to put in more effort in understanding it.
Anyway... Livia's leaving on Wednesday. Sigh... To New Zealand. See! I told you New Zealand's gonna rob me of my friends!! I also dunnoe when I'll see her again. Last week I mae an effort to go back and meet ehr. I couldn't join in the original farewell in the afternoon. SO when I reached Malacca in the evening, Yen, Ju, Jess and I went to Secret Recipe with Livia. It was a short outing but fun. Quite a time there. And I couldn't get a proper shot of Livia cos' you know la...she doesn't like having her photo taken. But she enjoyed using my Nikon though. Hahaha... But anyway Livia, sigh... have a great and safe trip to NZ. Must remember to come back meet us ok. It is so amazing that somehow we can grow close to each other. Remember how you and QiQi always kept to yourselves? Lol. Sigh sigh sigh~! And all those silly times when you all play with my phone. =.=! Hahahaha. Anyway... really, keep in touch. Will miss you so much after this.

Anyway, I updated my work blog. Click image for more.

Casually Killed in TOA
Date : 27th October 2008
Time : 12.07PM
Listening to : oh Donna - Ritchie Valens
Where : Room - MC
I checked my email and I found this.

Lol. Soon, soon, I'll be casually killed.XD
Oh, btw... Hmmm... I read Kenny Sia's blog yesterday and I seriously think he's just so lame and shallow. Don't ask why I read since I think that way. I just find it therapeutic when I irritate myself. Hahaha...
Anyway, last Friday I joined Uncle Thiran's Bible study with the suku kaum people from Sabah, Sarawak and Perak. It was conducted in Malay. I felt very welcomed there. A bit awkward to be speaking bahasa melayu and also reading & sharing in bahasa melayu. And weird thing is, Uncle Thiran speaks to me in emglish. So I was switching back and forth between that 2 languages. But I couldn't pray in BM so I ended up praying in English. And I found it a bit hard to pray properly cos' I was too conscious of what to say when I pray. =.+! Gonna oin them again this Friday.
Yesterday I drove to church cos' Uncle Kevin couldn't fetch me. Borrowed Zafri's car. Yesterday was quite a turn of event for me. I could talk to my church members more freely now without keeping to myself like a silly cow. =.=! And I took quite an active role in the Sunday School. I feel useful, at least. Of course I know I shouldn't let church works measure my commitment to God but I can't help feeling handicapped if I don't do anything.
Tanyus and I stayed up to 5AM this morning to work on our Design Method 3. To be honest, in the beginning, we thought we had a workable idea (which I still think it could work) but there were too many loopholes in our planning and it was pretty experimental. Like I mentioned, I think it could work but don't think it will be for the best. So we brainstormed for another idea. This time we took Sook Chiung's advice to break out of our intended media. Hopefully everything will fall into the right place and we really want to make this work. And we do think it could really work. ^^
Motion Graphics... I think I'm the only one haven't got my idea confirmed. Joanne wasn't around on Saturday cos' she went for a dentist appointment. So I couldn't get a critic session from her. I switched from Abortion to Autism Awareness. Will update about it later. 3D was quite okay I guess. Finished the main structure and no moving on to texture and also animatics. Aaaaaaaaaaaaah~!!!! My comp gonna crash for real this time! T_T
And for Advanced Digital Media, Uncle Musa started to be more relaxed and he actually can teach pretty well. He was so funny in class that day cos' he gave examples of ease in an ease out effects. All of that examples were about pounching people., slapping people and hitting people. We all went 0.o! before we burst out laughing, saying, "Why our lecturer so rough one??" Hahahaah! And the night before our class, we rushed the prototype like crazy. But I think we all failed to produce a complete prototype. On my part, I only finished the locations. No close up, no interface. Sigh~! Gotta start programming this week.
My classmates, all 6 of us, decided to spend a night in Port ickson Desa Lagoon and have BBQ there. I know it's weird that we're so freakin busy and yet still travel to PD for a retreat. I guess we just need a break. And I think for us who's taking ADM gonna die working in PD. Hopefully we'll juggle well between work and play.
Alright, I gotta go now. I still, don't like my blog layout but I don't have da time~!!!
*Menangis kuat-kuat*

Our class with Uncle Musa
Date : 11th October 2008
Time : 3.18PM
Listening to : Oldies
Where : Room -MC
Yesterday we had our very first programming class with Uncle Musa. Yes, we ended up calling him that. He was pretty shy la. Made everyone of us a bit uneasy cos' scared he will feel uncomfortable. Hahaha. And he kept on apologizing lae! Aiyo, I felt so bad. But anyway, in the end when we had discussion about or projects, then he loosened up a little bit. He told us he was quite an introvert and that was the first time he actually teach. As usual, Selvia kinda cracked the lecturer up with her alien punya cerita. Hahahaaa. And Uncle Musa gave a suggestion about finding tools to translate the different languages between the orang asing and orang asli. Lol. Anyway, he might even consider shifting the class to weekday. Fuh, so niiiceee... And he said he will replace 22nd November class since I can't make it. ^^ And yeah, he's taller than Hazmer. HAHAHAAHAHAHA! That's like the first thing we laughed about cos' Selvia said, "Hazmer pendek...". I forgot why she said that la, but it was just so funny la. My goodness....
Today, I helped out in Sunday School. Preparing for the Sunday School Closing for this year. Sweat la... The boys really very noisy lor. Today's topic for sermon was on the Kingdom of God. And there was a brief sharing on the Black Christmas. It happened on the 24th December 2007 in India. The Dalits Christians were persecuted and the churches and homes were burned down. Even until now their lives were in danger. The Dalits are the lower social caste in India and they are labeled as the Untouchable cos' their status is so low. So people, pray for them to stand on their faith and pray that God will continue to protect them. Many didn't want to turn away from their faith and thus their homes were set on fire. One woman even testified, "Now that I've known the true God, how can I renounce my faith and go back to Hinduism?". Keep them in your prayers ok?
Later in the evening, Zheng and I will join Geng Yi, Hwei, Ju and Melissa in Life Chapel for Footstool Players skit. The play is called, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love". It will be performed in KLPAC from 6-16 November 2008. RM30 for Adults and RM20 for students, senior citizens an disabled. So check it out ok? I heard it was good. Gonna check it out tonight in Life Chapel. :) Meanwhile, you can check it out here.

Alright now. I have to go prepare my work for Motion Graphic Project 2. My topic of interest will be Abortion. I actually thought of Pre-Marital Sex issue since it's so rampant nowadays. No matter what's the reason is la ok, I still don't think it's right. But PMS (bukan pre-menstrual syndrom) involves 2 people that can think for themselves. So I think they are aware of the consequences, possiblities and also responsibilities that follow. But abortion is different. It involves a life that cannot have a say of its own. And many people who went for abortion are not aware of the way the baby is going to be "extracted" out. You have no freakin idea how cruel it is. So I hope my motion work will be able to send a message loud and clear to those who went through or even thought of going through abortion. And I hope it will send a clear message to those who have sex without considering the possibilities of pregnancy. Condom does not help. It can "bocor" ok? Pills can be ineffective ok? And if I've stepped on anyone's tail regarding this issue, I apologize. In the first place, who said pre-marital sex and abortion are right? But still, I think it'll be interesting to hear different point of views regarding these two issues. Oh, if the mother's life is in danger and thus have to go through abortion, hmmm... If I'm the mother, I will not abort.
Anywho... gtg for real now. No intention to hurt anybody that does not agree with my stand here. Ta!

Stale news
Date : 1st October 2008
Time : 9.42PM
Listening to : Fake Plastic Trees - Radiohead
Where : Room - Malacca
Okay...stale news on da way... I dunnoe why I wanna write but I just want to write. Hehe.
Tanglung Night Festival @ Uncle Kian Boon's place
Well, Uncle Kian Boon ajak-ed a few of us youth in Malacca, Yen, Sin Yee, Kah Wai, Adrian, Andy, Elise, Simon and I, to his place for bbq. Yen and I bought some paper tanglungs. But in the end we tak jadi gantung la cos' it started drizzling. But before that we had lotsa food and it was delicious. Sin Yee betul-betul lawak with the way she ate lah. My goodness...can pengsan man. Then Uncle Kian Boon brought out a bottle of wine (14% alcohol) to let us try. So I thought if I take a bit it's ok la right. During my sis' grad, I took half a glass and terus diam ma. But this one, I took only 2 sips lae and I had chest pain like heart seizure for 20 minutes. I am so not kidding man. I went to the toilet to force it out but tak jadi la. So little how to force kan? I honestly thought I was going to die that night man. Luckily after sitting down for a while, reading Calvin&Hobbes with Andy, I was okay again. Ish. Scary. I am not gonna touch alcoholic beverages again except for communion. And this Qi Qi let us watch Charlie the Unicorn 2. =.=! We watched the 1st one when we had BBQ at Uncle Kian Boon's place last year. Can kantoi man watching the animation. Bananas in your ears...Apa punya lagu ini??? Anyway, we had so much food we hardly could move after that. We had a bit of a mooncake also and chatted at the kitchen with Uncle Kian Boon and Auntie Kiat Tin. After that Yen dropped me back home after sending Simon back.
Hazmer's so called Farewell @ Thai Thai Thai Restaurant
Like I mentioned so many times in my previous entries, Hazmer's leaving us to die in Advanced Digital Media class for Japan. =.=! Actually, he left last Sunday. He's so gonna feel so guilty man. Haha. Just kidding. Anyway, we had our last class with him on Friday. But on Thursday after class, we MM068-1 had our last crazy dinner with him at that ridiculously named restaurant. Before that, we who had ADM class with him had a sampat-ed photo session with him and Sook Chiung. Also very big sweat. Anyway, all of us had a great time in that restaurant la. This Fadzil kan..darn jahat ok? He asked that waiter to put 3 freakin big scoops of rice on my plate. Hazmer's one got 2. Both of us ate until wanna die. And photo sessions were tiring cos it was funny. And Selvia totally cracked us up with her funny questions about alien and also barbie doll.
Selvia : But alien also human right??? *Look at Hazmer with sad eyes*
Hazmer : How the heck I know???? *Burst out laughing*
Fuhlamak...So lawak. Sammo in class, when we were having our lessons...
Hazmer : So what objects can you think of in a racing game?
Chen : Girls waving flags...
Hazmer + Kenny : =.=!
Hazmer : What do people look for when they buy a car?
Selvia : Car wiper?
The whole class : 0.o! HAHAHAAHAhahAH!!!!
Car wiper sial... That was sooo funny. Adoih... And after dinner, everyone had to leave except for Hazmer, Tanyus, Selvia, Wahyu and I. So we went to Haagen Daaz. Had the chocolate fondue. Oooh..banyak punya sedap. But we were so tired ok. We laughed waaaay too much in the restaurant. Then Wahyu mentioned, "Eh, again five of us only". Yeah, again five of us only. Dunnoe why always ended up 5 of us makan and hang out. =.= Sammo always laugh until can roll on floor. The last time was in Starbucks where Hazmer showed us a game in MY nintendo DS Lite. "Kamone!" Si monyet semua tu. And bek bek Selvia. Hahaha... Anyway, have a good time in Japan~!
Mamma Mia @ MBO Melaka
I came back last weekend to join the youths in MGC for a movie. Original plan was to watch Penelope but don't have edi. So Adrian bought tickets for Mamma Mia at 8.15PM instead. Before that we went for Youth Meeting and we discussed something about Fellowship lah which I think was interesting although there were some things we weren't too sure about. After that we discussed about our end year camp in December. Then Yen, Jess, Ju, Sin yee, Kah Wai and I went for Ice Pat Poh. Quite lawak also. But we all had to go back before 7PM cos had to prepare for the movie. Sin Yee, Melissa and Tse Shuen did not join us. Sharma in the end didn't also. So Gary get to join us instead. 15 of us went:
Ju, Yen, Hwei, Gary, Ken, Aaron, Lilian, Andy, Adrian, Shaun, Kah Wai, Wei Jin, Sarah, Jessica and I.
It was such a fantastic movie la. Funny and nice. Ju and I almost melted in our seats watching Pierce Brosnan. I think Andy also almost pengsan after I kept on, "Noooo~! So hot....." and he went, "Calm down... it's just a man..."... Perrrr.... This nerd say liddat to me?? What just a man?? It's a hot man. Anyway, there was one scene when Meryl Streep duet with Pierce Brosnan. She was singing first. Then Pierce was so charming that me and ju was like, "Fuh.." but...tiba-tiba he sang with Meryl and both of us laughed so loud ok?? And not only us, I think all 15 of us because he sang so forcefully. Hahahahaa! I could hardly stop ok??? Adoih... Anyway, it was a good movie and outing with the youths. After that, Adrian, Andy, Sarah, Jess, Ju, Yen and I went to Malim mamak to eat. Teruk lah the service there. Susah sangat ker nak goreng lagi satu pinggan of mee???
Meet up with Yi Kwan and Ee Hoong @ Sunway Pyramid
Yi Kwan followed me up to KL on Monday. She had an interview on Tuesday. We had a great time together la. She kan, wanted me to dye hair with her. And she ended up didn't do it. Perla... But my hair very stubborn. Tak makan color one. So it's still black. =.=! Wasted my money. Cis. Anyway, on Tuesday, I contacted Ee Hoong and asked her to meet up. Well, to be honest, I was a bit afraid what will happen if both of them meet la. They haven't been meeting for a long time. But thank God that they got along and we went Nando's. And caught up on each other's life. More to their's than mine. Sebab aku ader blog kan. Hehe. We hung out for a couple of hours. Many things happened in a night. You know, to be very honest, I think yesterday was my greatest achivement as a friend to both of them and yet I think I was a let down for judging them too. So I want to say I am very sorry to both of you. There were some emotions that I failed to restrain from showing. But I truthfully believe you both have your own reasons. And for the part where I feel I achieved something in our friendship, it was when yi kwan said to ee hoong,
"See you on Saturday.."
Bugger. That freakin sent tears down my cheek la ok. I haven't heard that for 7 long years or more. Hope many more days like that will come. And one more thing is, do what is best for yourself. Don't be taken advantage of anymore. Both of you. Love you guys.
Hari Raya @ Jaziah's place
It's like the annual thing you know. Every raya we will go her place. This time Ju couldn't join us. Ngan joined us with her bf instead. Yen and Sarah were there also together with their cousin. I just came back from KL with GY, Grace and Sin Lan. So they dropped me at Jaz's place. But I was feeling a bit lethargic. Didn't talk much. Jaz started her work edi. Architect. Assistant I think. Not sure. But working in Ampang. Maybe next time can meet la. Went back home after that and kantoi until 7.30PM. Woke up and joined parents and friends for dinner. I totally couldn't remember about Prayer Meeting until Adrian sms-ed. Sorry man.
You know, sleeping in a room with your dog in it can be very disturbing ok. A while he will be lying next to you. Then kejap defler will kacau you by stepping on your butt. Then kejap lagi sleep at ur feet there. Then suka-suka lick your face and when u cover with blanket, he will try to snuggle beside u to bite u. Then so bising sammo with his bell! =.= I sleep until very kesian ok. And when I woke up, I found my spec's right glass was detached because that dog bit it. =.=
Well, that basically all la. And I am very glad that Grace likes the design of the wedding invitation card and also the programme card design. Even more encouragement was when she mentioned the printer guy said it was nice also. Thanks so much. And thank God more for His blessings. He gave me all the inspirations and skills that I need. :)
Okay, I really have to go now. See ya!
Will post up some pics when free!

First GLO Reunion
Date : 21st September 2008
Time : 3.46PM
Listening to : Xiang Nian Ni
Where : Room - MC
It's a beautiful Sunday. It wa raining just now, right after I came back from church. Yesterday night, I followed Uncle Thiran back from GLO Taiping. On Friday, I followed Timothy Keong to Taiping. GLO Reunion. Got to know his friend Jonathan. I've not met Tim for like 3 years already. Perr... Still that sot. Anyway, we reached Taiping at 11PM. Mannn... I missed that place. Haven't been there for like years. But too bad only Ee Ee from my batch able to make it. Michael Bubu was there too. Got to know a few former GLO-ians there but to be honest I didn't really manage to mingle with them much. Were doing some assignment. Friday night, I chatted with Uncle Thiran a little bit. And also Michael.
The next day we had morning devotion. The girls went out for breakfast. They did not not know about devotion. It was such a long time since I woke up that early to have devotion. Beautiful morning. After that, we had breakfast. Uncle Thiran was talking about the job of a consultant. Pretty funny conversation. And then at around 10AM, we went over to the church hall. Mr. Ken Harding was giving a sermon. Very inspiring sermon. After that we had around 5 hours break. You know, that was like the only time I had such a long break in GLO. Last time when I was a student there, the longest break you can have was like 3 hours. So Michael, Kok Cheong (Life Chapel guy), Ee Ee and I prepared some brochures to be delivered to all the churches. Cracked so many silly jokes. I thought Kok Cheong was going to collapse from laughing so much. That Zheng la. She told me this joke which I told them.
Question : Why Doraemon and Nobita scared to come Malaysia/
Answer : Cos GIANT is here.
When she told me I was quite ok nie ar. But hen I asked them, that Kok Cheong couldn't stop laughing lae. That michael said I otak tak betul. Haha...
Then I went back inside my room to work. Then Michael ajak-ed everyone go Cendol. I didn;t want to but in then end I decided to just tag along cos I had idea block. =,=
One thing led to another. Michael, Kok Cheong, Uncle Rasam and I ended up going to Taiping Zoo. It's not bad lae. I think better than National Zoo. But we didn't manage to finish going round the zoo. We had to head back to GLO to freshen up for our Reunion Service. Message by Uncle Ung was very thought-provoking. And I met Titus! He came down from Penang. Wooo... He's like the only GLO-ian that came from the year 2006 aside from Ee Ee and I. Nat couldn't make it. Anyway, I chatted with him. And when Uncle Thiran said he was leaving already, at around 8PM, I made a very hasty and sudden decision to follow him back. I was supposed to come back today with either Tim or Michael. But I think I got worried with my assignment la. I didnt take any pictures there... But I took pictures of zoo animals. =.= Don't ask.
Anyway, had a great chat and journey with Uncle Thiran and Uncle Rasam. Reached Mentari at 11PM. Did my quiet time and fell into bed asleep. And after 2 months, I went to BSGC for Sunday Worship. It was good.
Ok, I have to go now. Will update bout the later stuf later.
Ta!

Ta!

MGC Sports Day
Date : 31st August 2008
Time : 2.45PM
Listening to : CSI Miami
Where : TV Room – Malacca
Happy Independence Day! Okay, to be honest, I’m not too much into Merdeka mood this year. Almost every year I tak rasa that semangat. Nothing much to look forward to especially with all those jams and human-packed streets. Anyway, I am going to blog about yesterday’s MGC Sports Day.
So we started the day very early. Melissa picked me up at 7.15AM. She drove us (Ju & Auntie Tina) to Taman Sayang Selasih, where the event was held. We parked in front of Mrs. & Mr. Chua’s place. Then Mrs. Chua ushered us in to the kitchen to have our breakfast. After that, we helped Mr. Chua to carry the equipments to the field. Just then Kah Wai, Sin Yee and Sin Lan reached.
A few kids were at the field already. And we had them registered. They were quite semangat la. And most of them ended up in Juliana’s group. Slowly, people started coming in. Children, parents, helpers. So it got pretty crowded. We have like 60++ children. And we haven’t even include the adults and youths yet. Uncle Rodney was the main organizer I think. The judges were Auntie Kim, Auntie Kiat Tin, Sister YuMing, Raymond and Auntie Judy. (Correct me if I am wrong guys). The group leaders and asst.leaders are:
White : Juliana & ShuLynn
Yellow : Kah Wai & Sin Yee
Purple : Yen Mei & Shaun
Red : Chen Li & Andy
Blue : Adrian & Livia
Photographers were Federick and Darel and also the random people who had cameras such as Sin Lan and Sharma. Melissa was in charge of registration. Sharma was the gamemaster. Mrs. Chua, Auntie Grace, Uncle Kian Boon, Auntie Tina, Mr. Chua and Auntie Nancy were helping out with the most important aspect of all… food& drinks and gifts! Oh, not to forget, Simon helped Uncle Rodney with the games too. Ehehehe… Many other church members were there too. Sorry if I missed out any names. I am so not good with names.
Anyway, thank God for the good weather and great response. Yes, it was pretty scorching hot that day, still, it was all fun nonetheless. There were a lot of kids. I am not sure of other groups lah but for my team red, I have a few small kiddos that play the games according to their likings one. SO if they don’t like the games, they so totally don’t want to listen to me or Andy. It was frustrating at certain point la but kids are kids. You can’t really do much. They drove me crazy. And the sports day this year drew a lot of different races kids together. And most of them could speak Chinese. Since my team was lacking of members (with all the kids scattering around), I had to recruit new member. She watched us from the side. So I asked her if she wants to join us. She asked if she could. Of course can la. I sponsored her 3 bucks. And she had fun. I am so glad. Her name was Nur Adilah.
Anyway, the games were generally easy…for us youths. But not the kids. You know, sometimes it’s quite hard to go down to kids level and try to understand how much they can do. But come to think of it… it’s not that easy la. Haha. Anyway, I couldn’t remember the proper placing for the end result. I think it’s like this:
1st : Yellow
2nd : Purple
3rd : White
4th : Blue
5th : Red
I think so la… I asked Ju and she couldn’t remember also. Haha. Well, placing doesn’t matter la. It’s the spirit! After the games, we had the children clean up the mess they made. Hehe. And bonus point will be given. Hoho. Then we had the prize-giving session. After that we had lunch. The chicken rice was so spicy but very sedap. Anyway, the kid I “recruited”, shown an interest in our future programmes. But I forgot to ask her for her contact number. But she stays nearby to Dineshwary. So I guess I could reach Adilah through her.
After the makan and all, we cleared everything up. And then we went back to Mrs. Chua’s place. She cooked some light lunch for us. Sarah and Jasmine so lawak la. Sharma kena marah from Sarah for playing with Jasmine. Hehe.
All in all, it was a truly successful day. Thank God for keeping each and everyone safe, for the good response, good weather, and helps given by each and everyone who came for this event. Thanks to the working committee for planning everything so well and proper.
Oh, btw… I didn’t manage to take everyone’s pictures. I wasn’t the one with my camera. Handed it to Sharma. And my T20 is sick. Couldn’t stop vibrating. So for those people not in the photos, so sorry ok. Most of the photos are with Federick. If I get them, I will post it up yea.
I guess that’s all for the update on MGC Sports Day, from my part. Hopefully next year will be even better. ^^
Enjoy the photos!
