I am darn high on joy right now

Date : 30th April 2008
Time : 11.39PM
Listening to : Whistle for the choir - The Fratellis
Where : Room - Malacca

I am most warn you guys I am pretty high on joy right now. I have no idea why!!! Since I went to Prayer Meeting that is. Anyway, today was the "youngest" PM ever man. All who came was youths and only Uncle Hoh was the adult there. Okla... Auntie Yu Ming also but we considered her as youth tonight. Nyehnyehnyeh. Sin Lan was back for the break. Ohohoho! Another helper for Children Ministry. It was a small group today but it was good nonetheless. :) It's my first Prayer Meeting this year. I think so. I couldn't remember.

After PM, Yen and I went to Tmn Asean mamak. (As triggered by Shaun). And Yen noticed I was pretty high. Haha. Have no idea why. And yes, she got it right I guess. I am a nerdish designer. And we both think nerd is not un-cool ok. And sammo I'm a skema nerd. Hahaha. And I told her my nerd moments when I was younger and she was laughing like crazy. Aih... macam biasa kan. I remembered the times when 3 of us hung out together, and IF i know how to sing any songs from Hitz/FLY FM, sure that 2 will ketawa one. Dong betul. Tau ler aku ni oldies sikit. Perrr... Eheheeh...

Anyway, regarding the news that got me both excited and scared. Yea, my lecturer, Hazmer sms-ed one fine day when I was reading back my journal, laughing to myself. And he asked if I am interested to draw for his upcoming game la. Terus I terdiam and I went, "HAR?!?!!?!? Is he mad? I can hardly draw lah!" and i text-ed him telling him that la. And he replied back, "Are you kidding me? Saw your project and blablabla", *Tak leh ingat*... And then I said I scared lah! Hahaha. And then he called and asked what was I scared of and all. Aiya... tentu lah takut... Ini project not main main one ok. Kalau cannot handle then ma mati lah right??? But anyway, after discussing with my bro, dad and mom and cousin (Yeah, I asked a lot ppl) I decided to take up the job la. I guess no harm right since Hazmer said he will finish up the project by the 5th week of my term. So won't really affect my studies. And besides, he's looking for the kind of art style that I used for my final project. Quite biasa with that style d so shud be ok la. So, I am both excited and ketakutan at the same time. Ehehehe.

And surprisingly the game that he had in mind was rather similar with my final project. Tomorrow he'll be in Malacca to meet up with my bro and I regarding this. Yeap, my bro will be helping me with this. Told Zafri about this and he said I am such a dongoi. Dunnoe takut aper. I also dunnoe lah! Bodoh semacam.

Now for the bimbotic part of my life. CINDY MENANG MDG LAH! APA INI?! Eeeeyer... Em chai lah. End of my bimbotic rant.

My sister called me lah~! Ahahaha. So so happie. Okla... I just met her in Singapore. But it was so gooooooooood to hear from her even though it's just about the camera and all. She sounded fine. Eheeheehe...

I am high. I admit. But dunnoe high on what. It all started at home I think when I watched the Singapore series "Switched" starring Fann Wong with my 2 bros. Then after it ended I said... "Wah!!! He's the most normal handsome guy I've seen!". My bros gave me this look... =.=! And then the older one said, "Got normal handsome and not normal handsome one mer?".

Me : Of course lah! Like Jude Law and all... That's unachievable handsomeness. But this one normal handsome.
Bro : Har????
Me : Yeala. When normal handsome means he really handsome but achievable la!
Bro : Crazy...
Me : You tell me, he handsome or not?
Bro : Okla.
Me : What ok??? You no taste!
Bro : Yeala. Then you want me say boys handsome??
Me : Why not? I also got say girls pretty what.
Bro : You girls say girls pretty biasa lah. But guys saying another guy handsome really something wrong lor!
Me : Where got like that one....
Bro : Yeala!
Me : *sweat* o.0

Yeala... Actually if suddenly a guy friend come and tell me that a guy is handsome right, I will be sweating even more. Example :

Andrew : Eh, Chen Li... Thye Chuan handsome hor?
Me : o.0! Err... GA... You okie ah?

Lol... I use Andrew cos' I know he takkan marah me and I use Chuan cos' he's a ketiak so he can't do much except suffocating me to death with the stinkiness. It's just a random thing la. I am darn high. Even my post also something wrong.

Kla kla... I better stop here. Anymore nonsense I think I'll have to terjun laut and join Yen's CPU liao. And I am currently 0.3 Shaun.

Oh, updated my the other blog too. This blog 90% text (as quoted from yen). The other one, 90% images*I hope*.

Typing in Notepad, world most canggih invention

Date : 29th April 2008
Time : 11.28PM
Listening to : Err... Watching Disney Channel?
Where : Living Room – Malacca

Alaaa... Cannot online for a couple of days. So typing in the most "canggih" invention ever: Notepad. I quoted Joanne Ng, my lecturer. Ehehehe... Anyway, Dunnoe if anyone heard of Jonah/Jonas/Jonak brothers; whatever they were called. Just saw them on Disney Channel. A new boy band I think. Gosh, they sounded really, really like Nick Carter from BSB. *I am not entertaining any "boo" from anybody who hates BSB. I like them ok?!?!?!* Anyway, I think... I won't like the band. Terrible songs and vocal combination. Whatever lah. I just don't like the way they sing. Light&Easy is the best! *Ehehehehe...Oldies rocks!*

Anyway... I came up with a design for GY's wedding card. BUT I DON"T LIKE IT~! I dunnoe why... And people knows that if I don't like my work, I can't really continue. T_T But I am coming up with a couple more to see if it works. Sweat. And I had a really weird dream last night. And to think that I put programming to rest this holiday right... but nooooooooooooooo~! I dreamt that Tanyus and I were in this water theme park and we were trying to programme the water speed to make it faster. And after a couple of tries, we were washed out of that tunnel. Then after that we saw Selvia and we walked together to this restaurant where I saw Geng Yi and Grace la. Then I asked Geng Yi, "Eh, GY, what you want to put inside the wedding card?" And GY was looking pretty blur so I asked Grace instead and she passed me one whole stack of wedding cards for reference. =.=! Then Tanyus, Selvia and I walked towards this cafe la or something and we were supposed to order Spaghetti Carbonara with Bacon. And before I woke up, I remembered saying, "Why wanna sit here? A lot nyamuk lah!" o.0! What kinda dream is this? I really hope I could come up with something soon for the card. Ehehehe... Can't wait for the wedding siot!

Oh.. and yea... yesterday the adults were catching all those ticks from Jacky. Goodness... Should have seen that dude struggled. Ugh~! Those stupid ticks. Go find other things to suck la. +.+

Kla... Signing off now. Buaiiiiiii~!

Sunday is a good day

Date : 27th April 2008
Time : 9.11PM
Listening to : I can't tell you why - The Eagles
Where : My Room - Malacca

First of all... Timothy from Eagles is sooooooooooo hawt~! *swoon* Okla..the voice.

Okay, back to business. I am so scared now!! I posted previously that I was to do the storytelling for next week children's ministry right???? And today in church Auntie Kiat Tin actually approached me and asked me to take over her class also ok~! So meaning I have to do the storytelling for the main session and then take over Auntie Kiat Tin's class a.k.a the hyper kids class for the teaching one. *faint* A bit scared now. But thank God that Sin Yee's back to help me translate the language and all. Or I'll be half dead by the end of the saturday ministry. T.T But anyway, I am glad at the same time cos' I could help la. Filled up my holz days. And Auntie Angelina asked me to make sure I will be around next week Sunday cos' it's Little Sarah's birthday. Gonna celebrate in church. Lol. And she asked me to bring something for her and perform for her since I am so hyper. Wahahaha... No way man. What to perform?? Buat lawak bodoh can la. And then Uncle Anthony asked me to help Auntie Angelina to decorate the back area for Sarah's birthday next week. Well, I guess I can do something.

Then I went for badminton after a year and a half. Yeala, since I went TOA ma. And I mean went badminton = main ok... Not duduk sana jaga budak-budak and chat about lalat and all. Okla... I did jaga budak also la today but not as much as last time. Played 3 sets and kalah 3 sets. HAHAHAHAHAH! Hey, at least not as bad as last time when I partner ngan si ju ok. We kalah teruk to Auntie Jen's team. 15-0. Can you believe it???? This time I partnered with Auntie Angelina, Yen Mei and Sharma. Sial mia Sharma. Made me run like crazy. Lucky I can run. Syabas! 13-15! Tapi kalah jua. But more syabas! First time no lebam here and there. UAHAHAHAHA! Ini betol betol syok sendiri. After badminton, I followed Uncle Tony back to his place to get the balloons for Sunday. Sarah so super adorable. Tarik tarik tangan wanna show me the pond and all. Hehehe...

Today in church also quite lawak. Tak sangka still got people call me Michelle?? Lol... Shu Lynn... Shu Lynn... Lawak la that budak. No wonder can ngam with MGC kids. All gila semacam. And Daniel emoe la today. MU kalah to Chelsea. And yeah, today helped to wash plates and all la. So long since I've done that. Ever since I went Kay-El, my name is not under the duty list already so tak yah me wash. But today I had fun washing. Lawak thing came after Yen noticed that the sink was so messed up after that. Her expression and all darn lawak wei... After everything, I drove Adrian, Yen and Sarah (Big one..not the small one) to MP for sushi. Went Sushi King. After that went to the nerd place again to get Yen's book. Then sent Adrian home. Along the way, Sarah earned the name of Community Service Message girl. And her theory of why the motorcyclist so kesian. He got no money to buy car so the wife and the kid have to berhimpit on one motor. The kid paling kesian cannot look in front. You know why? Cos' the dady and mummy himpit defler in the midle so he has to look sideway to breath. Hahahah! Darn lawak sial this Chocho (Sarah)... And the message for this story is...

Earn more money to buy a car...

Haha! Tak kena mengena kan??? Lawak semacam. Oh, and yea, I just found out how my church youths measure the level of lame-ness one has. You measure with "Shaun". My lame level is currently 1 kilo of Shaun. =.o! I am speechless too.

I am gonna be a bit SS today by saying... I baru sajer realized yesterday that I am pretty funny. You now why? Cos' I read back my blog entries after STPM and old journals and I laughed at the things that I wrote. If I can laugh at what I wrote, I guess I am funny. HAHAHAHAHAH! Okla... Not like I've never laughed at my own stoopid jokes before but yeah... like I said... I will SS hari ini. I am so funny I made myself laugh. Fuh... Not bad.

I guess that made me worth 2 kilos of Shaun.

Till then! Buaiiiiiiiiiiii~!

Children Minitry and Dad's Birthday!

Date : 26th April 2008
Time : 11.07PM
Listening to : Some chinese song from somebody else's lappie
Where : My Room - Malacca

Dang...Suddenly I went blank. Dunnoe what to write. Okla... I guess I start with my day la. Went early for youth meeting..at first. But somehow I ended up helping in the children ministry. I wouldn't say I am new in this ministry la since I think almost everyone knows that I can work with children quite well and I pretty much love hanging around them. I am not pedo ok. But still, I haven't really work with MGC's children ministry before la. I kinda just helped out for the christmas party twice, the Mother's day art and craft once and sports day lor. But for teaching one... nope. And although I helped out with the children ministry in BSGC almost every week, I have no hands on experience in teaching la ok. Wait... storytelling once in GLO Kuala Kangsar children ministry. The story of Jonah. Okla... I guess I wasn't that bad. So today, I was suddenly helping out, and yeah... helped Jun Yi with the story of Zaccheus. Dunnoe spell correctly or not. But anyway, it was quite hard to capture the kids' attention la. And I think the youths laughed at my expression when I joined them after the children thingy. Traumatized. Next week will be my turn for the storytelling session. Goodness... Most of the children understand Chinese. And my Chinese really tak laku one okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk... Oh noes... But with God's grace, everything will be in place, I am sure of that. And yea, I also helped Auntie Kiat Tin with the notorious hyperactive boys class. Wah... Really la... Jun Yi was right, you need physical restraints for one of the boys. Or maybe two Ok...Make that 3. And when I first entered that class, one boy asked me, "Eh, chie chie... You no longer wear the teeth thing ah?"... He asked in chinese la. I was like blur... I thought he remembered me from the last christmas thing. I know he meant braces but I've never wore braces so I said, "No ar... Never had any teeth thing before wor..." And only when I was about to go back I realized why he asked that. He thought I was Su Chen, Jun Yi's girlfriend. Hahahah! How come kid's got such short term memory one?? They just met Su Chen last week and me this week and they thought I was her. (Su Chen wasn't around) They asked me why I didn't follow Jun Yi back. That's when it dawned on me la that they thought I was Su Chen. Darn lawak.

And Jasmine was so adorable. Gosh. This toddler ah. She likes me finally. Hahaha... Okla... Jasmine wasn't too much of a problem la. Sarah a bit moody. Haha...And Uncle Tony was like telling me that I am the 2nd daughter. I said shouldn't I be the first since I am an older "Michelle" compared to the real Michelle. He said I came 2nd cos' I got the name later than her daughter. Lol... Lawak. Well, anyway... It was a rather fun day hanging out in church. Lost one more round of "bop bop" with Shaun. That was a cheat btw Shaun! I was busy with the kids. And Adrian, that was unfair that you sided Shaun instead of your sis. >|

Then yen and I went Popular a.k.a the old POP to search for her book la. Then we went to Tong Shui House for some snack. Sedap...~! Yum Yum. Ehehehe... The night before, we went to burger King since Cell Group meeting was canceled. Did some catching up and all la. Then we went Ruffey (I called it Reggie... =.=!) and bought a pensi box... okay la... Pencil box la... I pronounced it Pensi Box since dunnoe when. Ehehehe... Then we went to the nerd place . MPH. Nerd place aper... All books. Haha. Bought Computer Arts mag. Was actually searching for the latest Idn la. I got the newsletter already. Seemed interesting and I wanna buy that issue but Malaysia not out yet. Aper la... Then after that we went for an ice cream break at McD!! Ehehehe... Then after that we cabut balik rumah.

And today is my DADDY's birthday! Still 40 to me although I think he is way older than that. But always 40 to me. I dunnoe why. Ahahaha... And although he doesn't read my blog, I still wanna say...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY DADDY DEAREST!!!

Love him so much mannnnnnn~! Greatest daddy ever...

And I really have to start sorting out my emails. I have the most outstanding unread emails ever. I already cleared most of it. I still have 62 mails to go. The most I had was 200++. And you have no idea how many people actually asked me, "You don't read mails one ah????". True, I don't. I just glanced through my inbox. If I see anything that is important or interesting, then I will clicked it. If not, I will just close the browser. So, don't bother to forward me mails unless you put in really catchy titles like, "Chen Li... Result's out. You failed Web Design I" or "Chen Li, I want to belanja you buffet" or even better, "Chen Li, I got free tickets to Morocco"... Then I might just click on those mail la. I am more likely to click on the result one. I mean, of course la right??? TOA blacked out my result once and colour coded my result the term after that. Phobia one ok??? If this term they do that again... I dunnoe what I will do. It's pretty exhausting to have your heartbeat beating so fast ok. Ugh~ AND THEN TELL ME IT'S TECHNICAL ERROR. Of course la I'm happie it's an error buthen hor, very menakutkan one ok?

Ish... how come I talk so much nowadays. =.= Okla...Signing off now. Tomorrow have to go church. Bubye~!

Why I watched MDG?

Date : 25th April 2008
Time : 6.00PM
Listening to : Nothing
Where : Parent's Room - Malacca

Actually, I wanted to start this post with : "She's out! She's out! Ringo is out of MDG!" Buthen while I waited for the page to load, I was thinking, maybe she really wanted this la. So I decided to just tune down a bit. For those who were wondering why I watched MDG (Malaysian Dream Girl) when I complained so much... I also don't know. I guess I am just way too kepochi la.

Anyway, final 3 are Hanis, Cindy and Adeline. Still, I think Jay has the potential. Cindy... Ok onie lah. No comment. Actually Nadia also not too bad but I don't like her attitude. Don't like Cindy's one also la. Don't whether she's fiction of fact when on tv...sorry... online. Ringo kan... Sorry la... I really don't think she has the potential la to be a model. Host or something along that line boleh la. I just think there are girls that are better than her and Malaysians out there dunnoe how to vote. =.o *Okay, please don't shoot*

Kla... I feel darn irritated with myself also for posting this one up. So dong la. Got nothing to do. =.= Now gonna watch ANTM. Toodles~!

Take my son...

A wealthy man and his son loved to collect rare works of art. They had
everything in their collection, from Picasso to Raphael. They would often sit together and admire the great works of art.

When the Vietnam conflict broke out, the son went to war. He was very courageous and died in battle while rescuing another soldier. The father was notified and grieved deeply for his only son. About a month later, just before Christmas, there was a knock at the door. A young man stood at the door with a large package in his hands.

He said, 'Sir, you don't know me, but I am the soldier for whom your son gave his life. He saved many lives that day, and he was carrying me to safety when a bullet struck him in the heart and he died instantly. He often talked about you, and your love for art.' The young man held out this package. 'I know this isn't much. I'm not really a great artist, but I think your son would have wanted you to have this.'

The father opened the package. It was a portrait of his son, painted by the young man. He stared in awe at the way the soldier had captured the personality of his son in the painting. The father was so drawn to the eyes that his own eyes welled up with tears. He thanked the young man and offered to pay him for the picture. 'Oh, no sir, I could never repay what your son did for me. It's a gift.'

The father hung the portrait over his mantle. Every time visitors came to his home he took them to see the portrait of his son before he showed them any of the other great works he had collected.

The man died a few months later. There was to be a great auction of his paintings. Many influential people gathered, excited over seeing the great paintings and having an opportunity to purchase one for their collection. On the platform sat the painting of the son. The auctioneer pounded his gavel. 'We will start the bidding with this picture of the son. Who will bid for this picture?'

There was silence.

Then a voice in the back of the room shouted, 'We want to see the famous paintings. Skip this one.'

But the auctioneer persisted.. 'Will somebody bid for this painting. Who will start the bidding? $100, $200?'

Another voice angrily. 'We didn't come to see this painting. We came to see the Van Goghs, the Rembrandts. Get on with the real bids!'

But still the auctioneer continued. 'The son! The son! Who'll take the son?'

Finally, a voice came from the very back of the room. It was the longtime gardener of the man and his son. 'I'll give $10 for the painting.' Being a poor man, it was all he could afford.

'We have $10, who will bid $20?'

'Give it to him for $10. Let's see the masters.'

'$10 is the bid, won't someone bid $20?'

The crowd was becoming angry.. They didn't want the picture of the son. They wanted the more worthy investments for their collections.

The auctioneer pounded the gavel. 'Going once, twice, SOLD for $10!'

A man sitting on the second row shouted, 'Now let's get on with the collection!'

The auctioneer laid down his gavel. 'I'm sorry, the auction is over.'

'What about the paintings?'

'I am sorry. When I was called to conduct this auction, I was told of a secret stipulation in the will. I was not allowed to reveal that stipulation until this time. Only the painting of the son would be auctioned. Whoever bought that painting would inherit the entire estate, including the paintings.

The man who took the son gets everything!'

God gave His son 2,000 years ago to die on the cross. Much like the auctioneer, His message today is: 'The son, the son, who'll take the son?'

Because, you see, whoever takes the Son gets everything.

Singapore Trip - Day 2

Date : 22nd April 2008
Time : 4.49PM
Listening to : Don't know much - Linda Ronstadt + Aaron Neville
Where : Sis' place - Singapore

Adrian had been bugging me for updates since afternoon lae. Apa ini. Kan dah cakap tengah edit photos. Ish ish. Anyway, Gonna update on the 2nd day here.

Tanyus came to Clementi at around 11AM. Put her stuff down and we headed back to the MRT station to meet up with Agnes. She was so nice you know the whole day. Both of us practically didn't spend any money that day cos' Agnes insited on paying. Thanks man. Anyway, she brought us to Faiz Plaze (I think) and chia-ed us this Jap food. Barbequed food on sticks. It's really a quaint little shop. very cosy and nice. The chef cooked in front of us and he is so cool la. The salt throwing accuracy was very fascinating. Haha. But really la, the food there was fantastic. Too bad... i dunnoe the name of the restaurant. But according to Agnes, it's been there for 20 over years already.

Then we went to check out Singapore Art Museum. We passed through Chijmes. It's a nice place. Love the church there. Architecture was really nice. Love the stained glass too. Anyway, we didn't really check out the museum. Though I was really interested in the fabric art thingy. But I guess we didn't really have enough time. Didn't have time to check out the library too. (I am not a nerd) But we did check out the Hippo ride though. As lame as it may sound, it's actually pretty good. It's a double decker bus. The second floor is actually topless. Great area to take photos. In fact most of the pictures taken that day was on the bus. It's a great way to see the whole city without having to walk. But seriously la... no offense... The tour guides were pretty lame one lor. So lame that Tan and I almost rolled off the bus and die of their lameness. And really man, even yesterday when Tan and I hoped onto the bus, the other tour guide was telling us how the architect explained the concept of Clark Quey's roof, the answer was so dotz. I dunnoe what you guys think la. But for us both I think it's really dotz lor. And at that point, I was so tempted to just sms-ed that si Zafri and tell him that he no longer rank no.1 in my lame list. At first, we still can tahan la. Then by the 3rd time I took the bus, I really dunnoe how to react already. So I stoned all the way to Botanic Garden. Really...no offense. But it was torturous. Okla...they were being very friendly la har. Aku banyak complaint kot. But really, you get to know quite a number of stuff if you take that ride.

Anywaaaaaaaaayyyyy... We took an ice cream break while waiting for Abby to join us for dinner. We travelled all the way to Sengkang for dinner. 4 of us took the taxi to Ponggol Marina. The chilli crab there was good. Darn big ok. And it was near the jetty. So took a couple of shots there. I really have very unstable hands. So I didn't get such good shots. But the food was good and satisfying. Went back at around 11++ I think.

And yeap, Tanyus and I really wanna thank Agnes for bringing us around and chia us also. And also Abby for joining us for dinner. :)

That basically summed up the 2nd day. It was fun but tiring at the same time. Here are a few pictures out of the many that I've taken. The decent lookable ones. LOL.

And these are the pictures of my sister's pet. Pebble the mom, WHisky the dad and Pip the babe.

That's all for now! Update soon! Ta!!!

I had like the scariest, panic moment that lasted for 3 seconds when I walked my way back from Clementi Station to my sis' flat. There was this guy who walked behind me and then when we reached the traffic light crossing, he was ahead of me la. So I thought it was ok right, But he was darn suspicious looking. He kept on looking back like making sure I'll be behind him and all you know.l So I thought at one junction he and I will be taking a different route or something but heck no. So I took another route and dang, I saw him again and he was checking my direction again. I am so not kidding and I am so not perasan ok. So I stopped for a while and then I lost him. So I continued walking la. Then i took down one earphone and I heard like got people's footstep. I panicked and turned around la. Cos I was pretty sure he was still in front of me. Manatau it's my own footsteps enchoing. Bangang. Panicked for 3 seconds. And then I saw him again and he was still checking my direction again and again. Crap, I've never ran so fast up the flight of stairs in my life. I AM SO NOT KIDDING AND I WASN'T HALLUCINATING~! Whatever... I still got a fright. Usually if things like that happened I won't feel as panicky as this but there's something about this guy that creeped me out from afar. Nyeh... Guess I was just too tired.

Neway, will update bout Ketiak later. Man, when he told me online (when I was at KL) that he will treat me pork ribs right, I thought it was some chinese shop or something lor. Mana tau... he brought me to Tony Romas lae. Crazy not? Cis...working people sure are different. Update later. Anyway, Chuan, thanx a bunch man. Hope you enjoyed your ice cream too yea?!

And the full moon was really fascinating when I was walking back. I was thinking, "Eh..I used to call it something back when I was in term 2"... Then I remembered.

My unbaked cookie.

Aih, it's been such a long time man. It's just particularly nice today. Too bad I couldn't enjoy it for long since I had to run back home. Cis...

K. Hope to update soon. Ta!

Darn tiring I could just die. Couldn't post about yesterday cos' I was way too tired. Can't really post about what happened these 2 days cos' in about an hour, I will be meeting Ketiak a.k.a Thye Chuan for dinner. Travelling might take about half an hour la. Haih...Sien....Singapore needs lotsa travelling. I wish I have a car. T.T

And yea, guys, for those who texted or called my maxis line, I won't be answering any of those cos I'll be using my sis' line. And she will be using mine. So yeah, I'll get back to you guys asap. And who knows..Next Monday I might end up on a 4 days fully paid trip to Sabah with a friend. If time allows and I have nothing on, I'll be helping her out with a camp planning or something.

Currently very addicted to Travis after that dude asked me to check out their vids and all. Love Flowers at the window. Man... Super tired. Dunnoe if I will die when I'm on my way to City Hall.

Singapore Trip - Day 1

Date : 19th April 2008
Time : 10.00PM
Listening to : Nothing
Where : Sis' room - Singapore

So tired. Backpack was heavy. Distance between each places were far. And I am weak~! It's true... (sob)... I am actually weak. Tanyus and I were wishing that some big hunks would appear and carry our stuff for us.

So, at 9.00AM, we boarded the bus to Singapore. And when we were at Woodsland, we couldn't find any money changer. Meaning, we were penniless. So, we jumped unto the malacca bus, (although we have no idea where he will bring us to) and hoped that we will end up in town. We were seriously penniless. And when we reached our destination, we asked the bus driver if they was any money changer there and he said no. Sweat. But still, Tan and I decided to find one. But we were at lost where to go. To the left or to the right? So as usual... I asked, "3 or 10?"... LOL. Ok, for those who dunnoe what that means, it's actually the way I decide on something when I really dunnoe what to choose. So I will assign an option to one of the number. (I chose 3 and 10 cos it's my birthdate numbers) Then I'll ask somebody to choose the number. Tan chose 3 so we took the left turn la. Thank God that he led us to the right path. We not only found the money changer but we got so many people who helped us with the direction and all. And we found the Bugis MRT station. And although I would say that MRT is faster that our LRT... but I really cannot tahan that I needed to change train so many times. But it was very well ventilated and all la. You have no idea how many times I actually changed train today. So sick of City Hall station.

When we reached Orchard, we met up with Selvia and Audrey which was really great cos we finally get to put our luggages down in their apartment. Then we met Sel's friend, Daisy, Selfie and Teddy. Dunnoe spelling correct or not. Anyway, we went lunch with them at Hard Rock Cafe. Damn expensive. I acrually really didn't wanna go there but aiya... I dunnoe how to say no. After lunch, Tan and I left early. Stopped at Tanjong Pagar station and found Red Dot Design Museum. I did some internet search for places to go and this was one of them. And it was a good place to visit. Product design that won Red Dot award. Great thing about the museum is that you are allowed to take pictures. Took some. And I must say that it's pretty interesting. But I guess not everyone will like it. Tan and I goof-ed around and even took a very lame video there. LOL. We tried to look for Singapore City Gallery. But when we reached there (just across the road from Red Dot), the gallery was already closed. So we went around taking pictures and all. Stopped for ice cream break. Then we headed back to Orchard. We were super d duper tired already. I went to get my stuff from the apartment and headed towards Clementi to meet my sis at around 7.00++... it was such an AGONY to travel from chard to City Hall and then from City Hall to CLementi which was 9 stations away with that heavy backpack. I kept on telling myself "You can one... Dun pengsan"... =.0! Don't ask me what's inside that bag ok. It's just a 3 days worth of clothes and 2 references book I brought to help me generate ideas for GY's wedding card design. And of course my sketchbook in my handbag and my bro's camera. Okla...maybe a lot.... Let me rephrase... sounds like alot but it's actually not heavy until yopu carried it for long.

When I finally reached Clementi, I dumped some stuff to my sis. Heehehee.... I think she's worried that I will be lost in Singapore and all. Cannot recognize the road back to her place and all. *Grinz* I really think I can manage. But I guess a younger sister will always be a younger sister. So tend to be worried about. Cos' she will be leaving for Malacca tomorrow (how ironic) and so I will be alone here with her hsemates.

And yeh! Can play with her 3 chinchillas. Pip grew so fast lah. Like to nibble ppl's finger. So adorable. Maybe I will take a couple of their pictures tomorrow. Hmmm... And post it up if I have the mood. Ehehehehe....

Anyway, here are some pictures that I took with my bro's Nikon D40. I suck real bad I tell you with all those settings and all. I really dunnoe how to operate it. I only remember some lil stuff he taught me but dang. Pictures were either over exposed or under exposed. Those pisctures with clouds here were touched up with Photoshop. The rest were how it was taken except for one or two where I adjusted the level and curve. Sorry la... Takda skill... Photography class next term.

Well, one really cool thing about Singapore is that they preserve the old buildings really really well. And I am a great fan of nice buildings especially the old ones. I have a thing for buildings btw. EHEHEHE... Kla...Signing off now. Update more tomorrow~!

7 hour interval post...

Date : 15th April 2008
Time : 7.45PM
Listening to : Nothing...thunder kot...
Where : Wen's room - KL

Dang... This is just boring. One more final to go. Before I started on this post, I was actually trying...okla..maybe not trying la... forced to sit down in front of this comp and play an interesting computer game...yea right..I wish...actually...forced to do Design Method 2 final project. Mangkuk man. After spending like almost 8 hours of HK drama marathon with Zheng (from 12AM - 7.30AM), slept from 8 to 12pm...and spent another 3 hours of watching that lame Malaysian Dreamgirl reality shows with Zafri... (don't ask why I watched that show when it's lame...I just like to watch lame stuff), I finally started work like...around...1 hour ago? Dang... I am so in holiday mood d lor. And I don't think I want to work lor. And I don't think I want to go presentation lor. And...and... and I think I want to continue watching my drama LOR!!! Sigh~!

But yeala..I will finish up the work la... And get it printed tomorrow, just to make sure everything will be good for presentation tomorrow. Anyway, today was a crazy day with Zheng and Zafri. We had a switch of roles. I was to be Zheng and Zheng was me. LOL...It was hilarious when we failed to imitate each other. My bro was like, "She got like that meh?" when Zheng talked to him. "Wen...eat la.."... Lol! So, it was pretty crazy...

(7 hours later)

K...just got back from dinner with Zafri, Zheng and Sathom at the Thai Restaurant. Helped to think bout the visual for the 7 deadly sins. Sathom's final photography shoots. Came up with a couple of good ones. Then came back and watched the drama classes we had with Gary. Hilarious. And Zheng painted that dude's nails. x.x Ugh~! With some silver heart shapes on the big toe. WAHAHAHAHA!

Well, will blog bout some other stuff later...It's like 3 minutes to 10 and my work was left unattended since... since I started this post. That means I am pretty much....slacking a lot. -.o

Time : 10.22PM
Listening to : Nothing
Where : Malacca-Room

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE~! Finished flash project wei~! Tak sangka aku...Migraine whole nite, pia whole nite, tak tido whole nite, akhirnya bisa habis jua...... I really didn't expect to finish every single "possible" outcomes for whatever user choices that might turn out to be. But I guess, biasa d la...Takper la... But anyway, during presentation, my flash din work. Couldn't figure out why. I shouldn't have publish it again la. Font wasn't found so everything lari. But surprise, surprise, I was calmer that how I usually would be when things went wrong. Takder panic sampai mau nangis and all. But eventually, with Chris' lappie, I managed to transfer the fonts from the net and republish it again. I even thought of barging into Mac Lab and publish my file there sebab I know they have Nilland font there~! Eventually, everything turned out well. Thank God!!!

And then, after that, ehehehehe... As promised by Hazmer, he chia-ed us eat sushi at his fav restaurant, Sushi Zanmai. I think I visited that place more than I 've visited Sushi King. It's good la really. Price was ok. I usually won't go unless my classmates wanna go la. But today...muahahahaah! Makan alot man.... And get to try alot stuff that I've not tried before except...for the baby octopus...eeeyeerrrr...... And macam biasa...say full d still got things inside my mouth. Darn glutton max wei... But thanks yea Hazmer.

Back in Malacca for now. 2 more subs to go and walah! Free from this term. Anyway, had a couple of silly laughter in class today. Vomit metaphor... =.=! Cut the rope or climb the rope. I think when I cut rope, I will be floating away with my balloons...whatever that means. Haha...

Guess nothing much left to say in this entry la. But yea, girl, if you read my blog, please, do cheer up. Not easy to do, but climb that bloody rope. You'll make it. Or cut the rope and float with thy balloons~... and not fall into the unknown as claimed by my lecturer. =.=!

onedotzero:graphic_cities

Date : 8th April 2008
Time : 11.29PM
Listening to : Obras (BG sound)
Where : MC - Room

Finally finished 2 major mia final project. All seemed well. Have to worry for flash now. Aih... Well, anyway, that day we had a trip to the Annexe. Went for onedotzero: graphic_cities screenings. The first clip was ok... But the second one (Obras by Hendrick Dusollier) was stunningly good. Found it on youTube... Ehehhe...Lucky yea. But for the rest except for a few totally made me doze off especially A Place to Passage by Hussein Chalayan and Neutral. Maybe it's just me but it failed to capture me. It's too long, too slow. Tried so hard to keep awake. I vote that as the worst. No offence meant. I guess it's just my preference. And there were a couple of local short films. I've seen Arms of Marrianne by Jordan Suleiman, a music video for Pete Teo a couple years back and I thought it was good. And I like it still when tey screened it again that day. Majidee was quite thought provoking I would say. Cannot tahan Dear Stella's background music. I think they should adjust the PA system to make it less annoying cos' the music chosen was super high pitch and when you on it full blast, they were literally attempting to burst my ear drums. I got quite agitated and so was Selvia. My Mind b Tony Pietra was... lame but I think it's funny. Haha... I dunnoe la..lame la really but I like it somehow. I guess different people has different opinion on that piece of work. Oh, and one more local work that I absolutely adore was Style in Progress by Andrew Yeoh. It is like Dee and Wahyu's styles together. Cool graffiti works. One more interesting work from the other side of the world (UK) is Oskar Aglert's work: Nature of our times. It's a short clip on how the nature took over the urban cities. Cool right? Neway... Enjoy these clips. Obras is little bit long but it's quite mind-boggling. The effects and message delivered are really strong.

Obras

Arms of Marianne

Sorry, could only get these 2 from youTube. Enjoy! Off to do my flash now! Oh, btw, Hazmer, congrats on TLC. TGI FRIDAY yea?!?!!?

Sajer nak update...

Date :6th April 32008
Time : 9.18PM
Listening to : Don't go breaking my heart - Elton John & Kiki Dee
Where : Room

Actually I wanted to blog about Malaysian DreamGirl and Kenny Sia one but I figured there are so not worth it. Though I do enjoy his blog sometimes but the MDG one was a total crap. What a judge. *Roll Eyes*

But anyway... children ministry without adult's help was... far from good but not too disastrous. But good enough that we managed to keep them quiet for a second or two. =.o! Lately, I was able to bond with BSGC people. Cos' I was quite reserved there but now like how I am in MGC d...Prob not so crazy la. But it was fun today knowing Adeline more. =)

Action script class was okayy. Did the external action script thingy. Was pretty confused at first la. But now so much better. And Hazmer did some "magic" tricks. Perrrrr.... Tak magic langsung lah. And sammo in the car, Wahyu, Selvia, Hazmer and I had such a laugh on the Si Musang and Si Kancil story. Darn lawak.

Hmmm, besides all these, I guess there isn't much to update. I guess nothing worth bising about. And anyway, so be it for everything that happened. Nothing I can do anyway and I don't need to prove myself.

A date with Shaun~!

Date : 2nd April 2008
Time : 9.13PM
Listening to : Some unknown songs
Where : MC - Room

I just finished my Quiet Time actually. I was moved by God's love for us. And no, it's not about ow Jesus died for us and all that. I pretty sure a lot people know that. But as some of you have already known, I've been doing on the book of Ezekiel. Today, this caught my attention.

You have profaned me among my people for few a handfuls of barleys and scraps of bread. By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and spared those who should not have lived. (Ezekiel 13:19)
I will save my people from your hands. And you will know that I am the LORD. (Ezekiel 13:23)

So yeah. I don't know why I felt God's love for us in these verses. Well... Hope it does the same for you guys. ^^

Had our presentation for web design final project today. I would say everything went well. Thanks to our love lecturer and tutor, we've had our share of fun and stress (good one prob) this term. :) And then the whole class (minus Judy) together with Danny, Zheng and Kelvin went for a really late lunch at Paparich. Man.. What a lawak time that we had there. Weird conversation and all. And then... I came back home and check on lil' Hammy (He has lotsa name I tell you) and he's still shy and all. Bah... hamsters are like that. And I miss my white mice. All 23 of them. After that, i went for a nap. And suddenly, somebody called me. Shaun. But it was Ah Hwei who was talking. Line was breaking and she was laughing and was very excited. I couldn't mak out what she was trying to tell me. I only caught something like, "Shaun decided....*break*...hahahaha... we need you ....*break*...." And I went..." Err...okay..why don;t u text me"..and she said ok. After we ended the call, I zonked out again. After a while, I received a message from Ah Hwei... I read a lil..Haven't even finished reading before a Klang number called. I was stunned cos' from whatever lil info that I gathered (plus my sleepiness...everyone knows that no one should interrupt my sleep cos I get really blur), I'm supposed to be Michelle Tay that knows Shaun for 7 years and I am to be shocked. That is all. I repeat...that is all that I gathered. But I answered the call anyway. It was from FlyFM. And what the heck. I don't even know what was Flirty@10.30PM. But surprisingly, I went along with the flow very well and it was hilariously funny I tell you. Guess Yen will record it all down. Let me tell you what happened actually.

Shaun and Hwei naik gila and decided to just fill in the form for fun. They never tought that they will actually be chosen. Basically, this Flirty@10.30 is for Jules and Prem (FlyFM) crew to help anybody that has a crush on somebody to confess on air. So the Crusher will fill in the form and put in the name of the Crushee and hope for the crew to actually choose them. And both of them fill the Crushee's name as Michelle Tay. WAHAHAHAH! Uncle Tony's 7 year old daughter. But they stated that they knew each other for 7 years and Shaun is actually 18 year old. Same as Michelle. =.=!

So, what started out as a joke turned out to be a REAL joke. Cos FlyFM really called Shaun and they will call Michelle also. So Shaun and Hwei terpaksa find one person to stand in as Michelle. And they chose me... Cos they said I'm the best one to do all this. So when they called, as I mentioned earlier, I was really blur. But thank God for Gary's class I actually played Michelle in 11 years to come pretty well. It was so funny I was literally laughing through it all. And Shaun was at the other end listening to it with Hwei and I guess the rest of the Lim's family. =.0 Some highlights of the conversation.

Fly : There's a guy who wants to date you, can you guess who's that?
Me : Hmmm... Well..there's always Michael... there's always Jackson...
Fly : *Laugh* You're funny. Aren't they the same person?
Me : Yea... HAHAHAHA!

Fly : Are you single?
Me : Yea.
Fly : Currently liking anyone?
Me : Hehehe...err... yeah....
Fly : Mind telling us?
Me : Err... No...
Fly : Ok..nevermind. Who do you think wanna date you? He knew you for 7 years already. Cute...(At this point i wanna puke d..Shaun..cute???LOL!)
Me : HAHAHAAHAHAH! Okkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk~!
Fly : You know?
Me : I guess it's Shaun?
Fly : Yea!! What are you gonna tell Shaun?
Me : Erm... SHAUN BE A MAN AND ASK ME FOR A DATE!!!

Ok... the content is something like that but it's not the exact words la har... Then they put shaun on the line and oh God... Listening to dat Shaun talking I could tell he's gonna laugh his ass off. Bop Bop!!! I should have said that and add spice to dat right?!?!?! Hahaha! It was so funny. I more or less could tell by then that you are poking fun of Michelle again isn't it? Lol... You made a promise to her dad... What a joke. Hahaha... And then Fly said...

Fly : Is Shaun the one you had a crush on?
Me : Err...Yea...
Fly : Are you saying dat because Shaun is on the line?
Me : Nooooooooo....
Fly : Ok, Good!

HAHAHAHAAH! Crap... Can life be more lawak than this? But anyway, if I could get any recording on the conversation, I will post it up. What a way to wake me up. Aduhai... Hwei..Shaun... You two memang ar... Speechless lah. And Shaun you are not the only one finding it hard to say cheesy stuff ok. And I am so not Michelle Tay Chen Li. Nama saya Wong. (Yeala Hazmer...Ketawa ler) Fuh..Lawak... And the crew said they find us funny and in fact the funniest one. That is if I didn't hear wrongly la. And asked where we are studying... Itula Shaun... 18 tahun yer..SPM pun belum ambik... Lerr... And Shaun said we are stand-up comedians. LOL. Betul jugak yea. In church also gila semacam. Liao~!

Btw..will post pic on Zheng's BD soon!

Aihhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh~!

Date : 1st April 2008
Time : 4.28AM
Listening to : Buy Me A Rose - Kenny Rogers
Where : MC - Room

Why is it always so hard to tell the truth. Sometimes I wonder if I did the right thing tonight by telling you the truth. I appreciate that you mentioned, "I will not lie to you". And though we clarified many things, I went home feeling that I've done wrong again.

Good friends tell each other the truth. But I didn't mean to put you down or make you feel guilty. Sigh... You know, one whole shot telling you how mad I was yesterday and the term before may be inappropriate. AIHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~! Sorry man. Have to get it off my chest. Don't wanna stay angry forever. And really, please please please don't be upset.

=.o...

Have a new addition to the family. A hamster. Hope it stays alive.
